Welcome!
Well, this is the start of the VisEmacs weblog. I’m sure posting will be infrequent, but I would like to use this as means to communicate the changes to VisEmacs and perhaps a chronicle of the .NET port, if and when that happens.
I now spend most of my time in Linux where VisEmacs is not needed. At work, I’m stuck with VS6 and don’t have the disk acreage necessary to install VS7. It’s not looking promising for VisEmacs.NET at the moment. However, life usually brings unforseen changes when we least expect them…
I’d like to get remote editing working but the problem I have is that gnuclient/gnuserv expect that intermachine editing is accomplished by ange-ftp where the situation I would like to support as the default mechanism is via network drive. Any ideas?
